Romantic Decadence Collection 2013

25th May this year was the day that Charlotte Balbier had been working towards all season... The launch of the new collection!!



After months of planning the CB team arrived at the location for the big day...Styal Lodge; a stunning modern and purpose built wedding venue in the North West, just near Manchester Airport, with an incredible garden outside too (you may recognise it from our sneaky peek pictures before the event!). And to top off this beautiful location, the sun was shining too!

The venue was a hive of activity, models were getting prepped and rehearsing for the show, amazing flowers were being arranged in the most fantabulous arrangements you've ever seen, tables were being set, cakes set out, food filling the room with intoxicating aromas...it was all happening!!

As the clock struck 12 everyone, and everything, was in place for the customers to arrive!

With drinks of Rose Champagne and Elderflower punch, canapes of mini yorkshire puddings & roast beef, asparagus & hollandaise and tiger prawns with chilli & ginger...the guests mingled and chatted...excitement was growing for the dresses...

The day didn't end there...there was still food to be eaten, orders to be taken and goodie bags to rifle through. Such a fantastic day was had. We just can't believe it all happened over 2 months ago already!!

The beautiful voice of Zoe Chiotis was playing throughout the meal too



On the Menu: Sirloin of Cheshire beef with a horseradish cream sauce, roast new potatoes

Salmon Teriyaki with julienne of vegetables

Butter nut squash and aubergine in a tomato fondue and mozzarella

Green Thai Chicken curry with sticky rice

And not forgetting the cakes & treats on the pudding table!!...
