CHARLOTTE BALBIER NEW COLLECTION 2011!...........

Charlotte Balbier
For Today’s Fashion Conscious Bride

2011: Taking you to the heart of the real Charlotte Balbier
For 2011, Charlotte Balbier is debuting her largest collection to date, over thirty new styles translating the individual styles and personalities of today’s brides.
There is always a surprise in every Charlotte Balbier collection and for the first time Charlotte has two very distinctive flavours running through the entire collection. The first, her interpretation of fantasy and romance: the English Tea Party collection. The second: the Sabella Collection, a nod to her multicultural heritage; the fusion of the Sicilian Dolce Vita with the French Savoir Faire.

The English Tea Party Collection
Gazing back to a childhood favourite, Charlotte’s designs for this collection take you through the looking glass with Alice Wonderland. Moonlight fairytales and ethereal romance vivifies Charlotte’s signature vintage laces, feminine styling and soft pastel hues. Once photographed the dresses will come alive in a setting of the Mad Hatters Tea party meets an English secret garden, in essence Charlotte’s imagery embodying the glamour of cool Britannia.

The Sabella Collection
Charlotte has successfully built her reputation on creating a brand and design portfolio that truly is an extension of her personality and heritage. With her French surname, Balbier, from her grandfather, the Sabella collection is named after her Sicilian Grandmother from whom she still feels her strong connection to Italy which reflects in her designs. For 2011 we see a renaissance for Charlotte in the Sabella connection. Now in her 8th year in the industry, there is a much more sophisticated accomplished feel to the collection. Taffeta and soft silks in sophisticated styles sit alongside soft pleating with timeless elegance and Italian laces that are the ultimate in chic. The black and white photography of this collection will connote the attitude and style of Italian fashion.

Fabulous reviews are flooding in.......

"Charlotte Balbier’s 2011 collections are her BEST EVER.
The new lace dresses are even softer and lovelier. Well cut, well designed, and very flattering.
The continued ‘vintage’ themes in the ‘English Tea Party Collection’ are both romantic and daring.
We anticipate this to be one of our strongest labels for 2011! "

"We were completely bowled over by Charlotte's new collection. In particular, the way in which she has embraced so many new fabrics and shapes without losing any of that special Charlotte Balbier look and feel. A lot of our customers have more or less decided that they will have a Charlotte Balbier gown before they even come in to the shop - and it's going to be a lot harder now for them to choose. Every dress seems more beautiful than the last, and the excitement factor is maintained right through the collection by the little details Charlotte incorporates - whether it be the design of the lace, a flirtatious little shoulder strap, or some bold and creative detail in the train, every gown contains it's own wonderful and unique surprise."
I think you can safely say that we are bigger fans than ever!

“With two very different flavours and over thirty new styles, 2011 brings about a real renaissance in my designs. New fabrics and beading, a new fresh colour palette and new photography styles will truly elevate this collection to a whole new level so that it can make its mark on the bridal fashion industry and most importantly allow us to grow in partnership with our retailers.”
